Snappy brushes are known for their quality. All our brushes use bristles of polypropylene. The advantages of polypropylene are many. Polypropylene is not broken down by most acids, alkalis and most solvents. Our competitors often use nylon and polystyrene which will break down quickly when exposed to acid and alkali solutions which are so frequently used in boating ( for example most teak cleaners use acids ).

All our brushes have flagged ends. These flagged ends act as capillaries drawing the washing fluid or detergent inside every individual bristle. In addition our brushes are so compact with bristles that cleaning fluid even becomes trapped in between the bristles. This creates a brush with a sponge effect. That produces an unbelievable cleaning effect Our brushes have high quality telescoping handles with indefinite length adjustments at the flick of a wrist and on all of our brushes except our smallest model all our brushes have snap on- snap off release system.

Our brushes are available in yellow soft and blue medium hard bristles. We recommend the softer bristles for decks and general cleaning tasks on the cared for boat. The medium hard bristles are excellent for gelcoat that is not smooth or for really dirty jobs.
